These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the website of “Umibot” (also called “Umi”) (this Website: www.umi.rmit.edu.au). This Website is operated by the Australian Research Council (ARC) Future Fellowship Project Team at RMIT University (ID: FT200100604) (we, us or our). By accessing this Website, you acknowledge and accept these Terms of Use and Umibot’s Privacy Information Statement.

1. Not Legal or Professional Advice 

The information on this Website is provided for general informational purposes only. It does not constitute, and should not be relied on as, legal, business or any other professional advice. 2. Not a Reporting Tool

Umibot, which is housed on this Website, is not a reporting tool for image-based abuse. We designed Umibot to be a stepping-stone for people who need information but may not necessarily want to report or talk about their experience(s) with another person.

We are not responsible for any loss suffered as a result of or in relation to the use of this Website or any of its content, including links to other websites.   • Reproduce, incorporate or store any information from this Website, unless the prior written consent of the Future Fellowship Project Team has been obtained.

Umibot is designed to be used anonymously and confidentially: you are not required - or encouraged - to provide your name or any information which would identify you or anyone else. However, if we receive information from you which does potentially identify you, we will keep it securely in accordance with RMIT’s Privacy Statement.

We may at any time change the terms of this Terms of Use without notice. We therefore encourage you to occasionally check back to see if anything in this Terms of Use has changed.
